Proton SEE Testing at a New Class of Test Sites
Participate in a hands-on proton testing tutorial at SCRIPPS Proton Therapy Center
Open to registered attendees only. Registration embedded in RegOnline process.
Since the closure of IUCF, the U.S. industry has been seeking alternative facilities for SEE testing with protons. An interagency team was formed investigating the use of cancer therapy facilities across the country. The team determined that these cancer facilities are unlike IUCF and that the uninitiated user needs additional training to be able to efficiently use these sites. This ~2 hour training module is designed to provide these users with the tools to test at these new facilities.
Two sessions are available on Saturday 5/21 (morning and afternoon) with exact times TBD.
